Process

- Only lasts 2-3 years before needing to be recoated

Epoxy Coatings
Process
- Plain coat
- Cut a& Coat – concrete grind and clear coated
- Options:
- APC Ultra Flake Finish
- APC Hyper Flake Finish – mimics natural stone
- Swirl Coat
- Metallics
- Poly Urethane and Polyespartic clearcoat options
- Non-slip additives available
Advantages
- Hard, long lasting coating
- Lots of colours and finishes available
- Custom designs are possible
- Does not fade from UV exposure
- Does not wear off in high traffic areas
- Multiple non-slip options
Disadvantages
- Expensive in comparison to other options
- Strict process to install correctly – timeframes and weather matter
- Can be slippery when wet
- If damaged, it needs to be ground off and re-applied from scratch
